If people just followed the rules and respected authority, we wouldn’t have chaos like this in the streets.

Peaceful protests like this are an important way for Malaysians from all backgrounds to come together and hold the government accountable—let's make sure any reforms actually reflect the will of the people, not just politicians.
Honestly, it's inspiring to see so many people come together and stand up for their rights, especially when it comes to something as important as urban renewal. The government should be listening to people's concerns, not trying to scare civil servants away from participating. Peaceful protest is a cornerstone of any healthy democracy, and it's disappointing to see authorities responding with road closures instead of dialogue. Hopefully, this sends a message that Malaysians want more transparency and accountability from Anwar's administration.
Good on the people for showing up and making their voices heard—top-down "urban renewal" just means more control and displacement by the state and corporations. The fact that authorities tried to shut it down and scare civil servants away just shows how threatened they are by real grassroots action.

It’s great to see people standing up against more government interference in property rights—urban renewal laws are just another excuse for bureaucrats to grab land and trample individual freedoms. Kudos to the protesters for making their voices heard peacefully, even with the authorities trying to clamp down.

Looks like people are finally waking up to how little respect this government has for property rights and the voices of ordinary citizens.

This is what happens when the government prioritizes corporate interests over ordinary people—urban renewal should empower communities, not displace them for profit.
